Across the country, working Americans are struggling. Millions are working one or multiple part-time jobs because they couldn't find full-time work. Millions more are making just barely above minimum wage, or working long hours without overtime pay. Wages have stagnated for the past four decades, and even plummeted compared to productivity. Meanwhile, inequality has skyrocketed.

But statistics don't tell the whole story. Numbers alone won't help anyone to truly understand what it feels like to live on the economic brink, much less give them a full portrait of who lives there. That's why we're asking for your help. If you work and you're still fighting to keep your head above the water, then we want to hear your story.

Shoot us an email at allinwithchris@msnbc.com and let us know what it's like for you. Your submission can take the form of writing, a YouTube video, or even an Instagram submission. We'll post our favorites on the site in the days and weeks to come.
