Former CIA Director John Brennan tells Ari Melber that a new Trump administration policy that is causing migrant children to be separated from their parents is a “tremendous” national security issue in terms of how the United States is perceived by the world. Brennan also comments on reporting that Trump has overseen five times as many lethal drone strikes as Obama in a similar time frame, noting that it’s “hard to believe” that he is in-keeping with Obama-era standards for “near-certainty of no civilian casualties” with such an increase.June 19, 2018
