In an interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber, former acting director of the FBI Andrew McCabe is pressed on the FBI’s three-week delay between discovering Hillary Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop and the announcement of their discovery to the public. McCabe says that while the three-week delay was not ideal, it is an “acceptable outcome.” McCabe also says he thinks it is “undeniable” that the FBI’s actions in the Clinton email investigation, particularly the October 28th letter to Congress announcing the discovery of the Weiner Clinton emails, had an impact on the 2016 election.Feb. 21, 2019
